  1. RUN
great Beat the Blerch Half - Milwau... 13.07 mi 02:20 10:42 pace

Ran the virtual Beat the Blerch with my favorite Sara K. It was a lot of fun, even if the weather was weird. Windy and overcast and then sunny and then overcast again. So great to see all the peopl... read more

  2. RUN
good Early morning 3.8 mi 00:36 09:36 pace

This was shaping up to be a great run right up until I started feeling like I was going to puke after one and a half miles. Stomach issues for the win!

  3. RUN
    good Treadmill 3 mi 00:30 10:00 pace

Mondays are 'run after dropping the girls off at school' days, so I hit the treadmill at the Y. I might see if I can run around downtown instead, but this will do for now.

  4. RUN
    good Around 8 mi 01:20 10:02 pace

The first part of this went really well and the second half just ok. Still, with the proper gear on, it was a lovely morning for a run.

  5. RUN
    good Treadmill 3.1 mi 00:31 09:56 pace

It was 46 and pitch dark when I got up, so I went to the Y. Need to dig out my cold weather running clothes.

Unless we no longer live in the same state, I'll argue that 46 isn't cold weather.

It's not, but I only had shorts and a tank to run in and that wasn't quite enough. The rest of my stuff was under the bed, which contained my sleeping wife. I chose not to wake her up.

  6. RUN
    alright Treadmill 3.5 mi 00:39 11:08 pace

    Rain outside means running inside.

  7. walk
alright Early morning 2 mi 00:31 15:30 pace

Not what I was planning on doing, but at least I got something in.

  8. RUN
    alright Shakeout? 2.3 mi 00:24 10:24 pace

Well, this didn't hurt as much as I thought it might, which is good. It's still super humid out, and my legs are tired, so it was sloooooow. At least I got it done.

  9. RUN
good Lake Michigan Trail Half Mara... 13.1 mi 02:27 11:10 pace

I didn't know my body could produce so much sweat. It was hot and humid, but the sun was hidden behind some fog, so it was bearable. I held it together pretty well for most of the race, but th... read more

Great job! Great post. I was there and agree with everything you posted including 'again next year'. It was quite the foggy experience.

  10. VELO
good To and from the Lake Michigan... 6.6 mi 00:34 11.8mph pace

This was an excellent way to warm up and cool down for the half today.

  11. RUN
alright To the park and back 3.85 mi 00:39 10:02 pace

This one was a bit harder than my other 3.8 mile route. Lots more uphills here. At least it's done.

  12. RUN
    good Around 3.5 mi 00:35 09:52 pace

It was a beautiful morning for a run.

  13. RUN
alright In the soup 3.8 mi 00:38 09:57 pace

70 degrees and 90% humidity. I think I'm sweating from parts of my body that I didn't know could sweat.

  14. RUN
good Lots of loops 3.5 mi 00:37 10:27 pace

Ran some laps at the tiny indoor track at the downtown Y. I'm halfway convinced I miscounted and ran one more lap than I thought, but this is close enough.
