    I've discovered the secret to running without thinking about the fact I'm running: listening to my Spanish audiobooks while I work out! (I'm trying to relearn Spanish)

    Added an extra lap around Burns Park today. Ran 1 lap, then half walked, half ran the next two. Felt pretty sick after the first lap, but then it got better.

      Awesome! Your enthusiasm for DailyMile has inspired me to finally start adding my non-running workouts, which Greg has been trying to get me to do for months. I'm hoping it will make me bike and swim more, and it might even get me to the gym, once I buy a summer membership.

      Thanks! Yeah, I don't do enough running to use it just for that, so I've been posting all my workouts, no matter how small. You should too! I've found some sort of strange fascination with posting my workouts here, it's like I get a little gold star for doing them. :)

      Yeah, I actually kinda resisted that extrinsic motivation, thinking that since I enjoyed working out, I would do it without the gold star. Somehow, though, that's not quite working out how I'd planned, so I'm going to try embracing the data tracking thing. Thanks for the inspiration!
