good (part 3) walk from point i ended run to w. river dr to find item, streak, and skinny dip, 08/15/2012 1.13 km 00:27

by the time i got to the point i ended the run of the last part, i was running on fumes so to speak. i thus slowed to walk.
i turned onto indiana from vermont, but the road is blocked to the east so i had to go around that.
at the point i went onto the embankment, by the pumping station, i was still tired, and that was a big hill! it also was rocky. finally i made it into the woods and the shorts came off, wherein i eventually found the bedspread. i decided to take it out where the lights from the street (uni) would illuminate it so i could roll up and attach it, and was fairly certain i would not encounter anyone and thus the shorts remained in hand. when i emerged from the south end of the bridge, though still cloaked in shadow, i saw a male figure standing against the wall.
he definitely was not wearing much, if anything.
i moved closer.
he was indeed bare!
so i decided to walk up to him. at that point, i had been walking 22 minutes.
it was a friend, and we chatted for quite a while while i regained my energy. (his feet were covered though.) i took part of the time to attach the bedspread to the pack (i folded it in thirds) using the bungee cord and monitor power cord. i also took a few gulps from my water bottle.
the time i was not walking (either in the water, standing, or sitting) came to 1h21m.
i finally begged off to go into the river, and he told me to try a spot right under the bridge. so i did. just when i entered, i nearly impaled myself! there was a bicycle in the water! i pulled it out and set it aside.
i came back up to air-dry, and we talked a little more.
when i put the pack on my back, the bedspread fell off! the monitor cord had come undone. i tied it again, this time attaching it to the top of the pack so it wouldn’t bump me in the rear end as i moved.
finally i was ready, on went the shorts, and this part ends there.
