woohoo, sub-30 minutes despite having already run nearly 6km to get there (see previous run). as it goes the closest I felt to throwing up all morning was during the first 100 metres of so of this run. couldn't squeeze extra speed out of my legs - after seeing the 2nd km come in at 5:59 but feeling comfortable, I thought I put on a burst of speed and maintained it for quite a while, but the 3rd km was 5:56. never mind.
