First run for a month or so, since hurting my knees. Slow and steady to ease myself back, but still had to stop when it hurt too much to carry on :(

Thanks very much! I need to enter an event so I've got a goal to work to... I love the idea of 1095miles.com but don't think I'm quite that dedicated :-)

Where you turned right at the Port Lane sign and went up the hill, at the top is a covered resevoir. There's another one at the top of Otterbourne Hill.

RUN
tired Hursley to Olivers Battery sign 4.04 mi 00:42 10:21 pace
Frustrating. I'm out of shape compared with when I stopped training last year - getting impatient with myself.

Keep at it, I always find the fitness comes back pretty quickly

"when I stopped training last year" == "when I peaked last year after months of build up". I was feeling very unfit after Christmas but I think I'm more or less back now - it doesn't take too long to regain fitness.

Dale
As a fraction, you're infinitely far ahead of some others, eg Alan and Ed. Well done for getting out.
