Two lessons learned - 1) don't try to do a wall squat immediately after a run while still wearing your sweaty socks = SLIDE!! 2) Don't do a plank immediately after a run that caused your ab's to spasm = not fun! Moral of the story is, you can pretty much do anything for 60 seconds ;)


I've learned to not do them barefoot on carpet -- it's 10x harder when your feet slide! Your last sentence is the key to everything.
