Still resting my foot. Doesn't quite feel right yet as it's pretty sore just at the end of a normal day walking/standing. Also, my shoes really are nowhere to be found (?!) and so I am going to wait until the end of the month to get some new kicks. I miss it, but I know I need the rest.

    don't ignore the importance of rest. and be sure to eat well and plenty. get as much sleep of good quality as you can. If you're really itching to do something, try something else... like 100 pushups or something.

    I'm sure you've head more than once already, rest days are 1 per mile run. That's based on effort and fitness I'm sure, but there is no reason to push it. You will come back stronger with a great recovery. How bizarre about your shoes though.
