      I'm making myself get used to them. I figure if I can handle these hills with no problem, I'll be stronger on flat land and can take my pick of what half-marathon I want to do.

    Breaking in new shoes with Kai. A little rain...but it went away. Good laughs, fellowship...and breakfast afterwards.

    Walked with my favorite newcomer and she said that she shaved 15 minutes off her time from the last time she did it. Its the little things...and this route isn't for the faint of heart either.

      i'm trying...getting out there has become like second nature to me. I have about a month until my 1st destination half and I'm not really excited. I think I'll be excited when I get there.

      So proud of all you're doing Cynthia. I remember whenever we first met at Piedmont and you were saying that you were just getting back on the pavement; and now you're on to your 2nd half while I'm just doing a 10K. WTG!!

      Aww thank you...I'm proud of all of the hardwork you've been putting in and you've been an inspiration for me as well because I tell people time and time again...you can't out train a bad diet. Just a 10K??? chile please...that is still 6.2 miles more than the average person is going to move and remember you are faster than me. I've only done 2-10Ks. You know I want to know all about how the 10K went.
