Went for a 1/2 hour walk in the evening. It felt good to finally get out there in the clean, cool, crisp air & get moving again.

I know it's not much relative to what I was doing 4 months ago & earlier (i.e., all those 9 & 15 milers, etc.), or even a month ago, but at least it's a start in the right direction.

I'm basically starting from scratch again, given the earlier injury & multiple illnesses, etc. Well, at least things can only improve from here. :-D

The knees held up pretty well & weren't sore afterwards so that's a good sign. The funny thing is that sometimes they are sore when I'm doing absolutely nothing (i.e., usually when I'm sitting on the couch, etc.). Not sure exactly what that's about, since the recovery time should actually be helping, not aggravating the situation. Weird.

I need to go to the orthopaedic doctor & get my legs checked out. Yes, I kept putting that off, since things here have been kind of out-of-control over the last several months. (Hope my mom's not reading this, because she would probably give me a disapproving look. Several family members are doctors; need I say more? ;) )

Note to self: Go to the doctor!!!!! :-D After I get confirmation about the situation with the legs, then I'll take the next step of hopefully getting back to running. Until then, I'm testing out the waters with walking.
