Did a 1 mi warm-up walk, (a 4 mi run, as detailed in the previous post), and a 1.23 mi cool-down walk. At the start, it was 81°F and by the finish it was 86°F. (It was 81°F at 5:45 am, i.e., when I'd gotten up to run!) I'd planned to workout yesterday, but was so tired that I slept in until 9 am; it was too hot by then, so of course, I postponed the run until today. Due to the heat, I haven't been doing as much walking as usual; also, I've been so tired from getting up so early lately, that I prefer to sleep in a bit on my off-days from running to catch up on my sleep. :)
