  1. RUN
    good C25K D3W1 2.38 mi

Ran outside in 55°F weather! How awesome is that?! And what a contrast to the weather during my last run. (Got dressed a lot quicker this time, since I didn't have to bundle up and put on 18 layers... read more

  2. RUN
    good C25K D2W1 2.29 mi

Run went well. It was 29°F, but I wore three layers, a hat, & gloves, so it didn't even feel cold. :)

  3. RUN
    good C25K D1W1 2.04 mi

Wore THREE top layers, plus ear muffs, neck warmer, and gloves for tonight's run. You could barely see my eyes. Pretty much looked like a yeti. :)

Welcome back, Corey. And I can see why you needed all the layers - it was really windy out there yesterday. Hopefully not as bad this morning since I'm getting ready to head out for my run!

  7. walk

Lots of debris and fallen branches on the path today. It started out a nice, cool and breezy 69°F and then gradually warmed up to a sunny 77°F by the time I took my cool-down walk. Run post up next.

  8. walk
good 2.11 mi walk 2.11 mi

Thanks, Michael! :-D Debbie: It wasn't actually that bad. The umbrella kept most of me dry, except for my sneakers. :) Kathy: It was just very windy and rainy, but that's all that happened. How about you?

Double Grrrr!! (Brian taught me the Grrr!!) Nice work Corey. Seems like you are gaining strength. Do you feel it? (BTW, the elbow pain is most assuredly the way you have your hands planted and bend your arm.)

LOL. Thanks, guys! Stu: If we're talking about this year, yes, there's a bit of improvement in that area. Honestly, I'm used to being a lot stronger, but it's a rebuilding year, so it's all relative. Having to start over from scratch has been a very humbling experience. :)

Thanks, Miruna! @Jennifer: One more thought. It's not that I can't cover the distance, which I've done a zillion times before, but rather that I don't want to be unprepared to the point where all I can do is just cover the distance. Even 2 weeks of doing the 5K distance doesn't feel like enough, especially since I'd ideally like to be able to run it at a good clip. :)
