5 x1000m @ 6 min/m pace and one 400m. 3 minute rest interval. I was supposed to do these a little faster but 6's seemed fast enough for me today.

Cold morning. Planning on 16 miles but I am trying to be smart and not run with pain. On the plus side I got in a few miles with my daughter before school.

RUN
good Tempo 6.5 mi
I was able to loosen up and run 4.5 miles in 28 minutes which was a 6:11 pace. I felt pain during the warmup and was glad it dissipated. Easy paced cool down was nice. Very pleased with this one.

Thanks. Feeling really worn out today; ran an easy five and couldn't even imagine racing. Let's hope tomorrow brings something very different!

2 miles @ 6:17 pace. Legs moving well for Boston. What irony you fight an entire New Hampshire winter season preparing for this day and you face a heat advisory.

great West on 101A 12.87 mi 01:43 08:00 pace
Strong headwind for the first 7 miles. Cut the 15 planned short. I think it is time to taper for Boston.

Nice Job:
You are darn right, my friend. Know when the hay is in the barn and just say when! 12/13 miles is perfect for the week before a marathon.
