First run post Ragnar Chicago. Decided to go for 6, because really, at this point in the game 6 needs to be an "easier" distance for me. Otherwise Glacial Trail is simply going to kick my ass.

Anyhow, while I initially intended to take it easy, I simply could not keep myself from pushing the pace into the mid to low 9s. Probably some stupid brain thing related to doing the run shirtless (it was warm and the world can bite me). Somewhere in the lizard brain I think that if I'm going to expose the universe to my white fatness I at least need to make an effort to be speedy... ish.

All in all, it wasn't too bad. Strenuous to be sure, but more like tempo run effort than "OMFGI'MGOINGTOPUKEONALLTHETHINGS!" And as a bonus, no oozing from the gash on my shin. Time for a shower and sleep.

Nice 6 yesterday - I highly doubt you have much, if any fatty-ness. Now, the white....well, it is Wisconsin, and it has been winter up until what, yesterday???
