A friend did a 20 miler as part of her Galloway marathon training today and I did the first part with her. The day was so, so, so beautiful and sunny and gorgeous. It helped that we had cliff-side ocean views most of the run. Our run went just as it was supposed to and I left her in good spirits to continue the rest of the run with the "second shift".
