Though we started a little late on this one, it felt really good, especially through about mile 8. After that I slowed down for a couple of miles as I was running in mostly direct sun, which felt hot even though it was only about 63F by the end (started ~57F). This is my final long run before the Med City Half in two weeks. As it turns out, it was 2-3 minutes faster than my finish at the Earth Day Half only 3 weeks ago. Did this Galloway style, taking about w 1 minute walk break once each mile (~0.07 mi) through those final few miles when I tool a few more walk breaks. Splits: 10:17, 9:57, 10:07, 9:55, 9:57, 9:56, 9:45, 9:35, 9:56, 10:42, 10:50, 10:37, 10:22, 10:01 (final 0.3).
