For some reason (I have no idea why) when it starts to get hard I begin to hear in my head the song "The Wheels on the Bus". I'll be truckin' along sometimes singing "The wheels on the bus... (breathe breathe breath) go round and round... (breathe breath breath) round and round..." This started about a month ago.
