      I have a bright one on the front and a bright red one on the back. I don't mess with cheapy ones anymore. The ones I have are good and bright and keep me very visible.

    Out with 2 friends and passing 500 miles for the calendar year! This will be my lowest total for a year in about 7 years thanks to some injuries and just a busier than normal work year.

      I barely got over 500 as well, which is twice as much as last year. That stupid marathon I did two years ago really zapped me. Hope the injuries go away in 2017. Glad work is going well.

    A damp morning but no real rain fell on us. Ran in a group of 4 today for the first time in a long time. Decided to get real crazy and run one of our routs in reverse.

    My first time making the climb all the way to the summit of Mt Diablo. Felling very good about my fitness level to do that. Then there was a very cold ride down.

      Did your hands start to cramp up, too, with all the braking coming back down the hill? Mine always do!

      My neck and back were the problem this day. I usually don't have any issues like that but I just slept the wrong way the night before. Going up was fine being able to change hand positions throughout the climb, but coming down on the brakes the whole time really tweaked my neck and back. I paid for it the rest of the day.

      Yeah, many people don't realize that descending Mt. Diablo can be a problem, too. Sorry about your neck/back. Hope you feel better now.

      @trent, Strava is an app for logging runs, bikes or swims. It plays really nicely with Garmin, or you can use their smartphone app. Their site is somewhat social and automatically keeps track of your personal bests on certain segments of your routes and the traditional distances. Not sure why the facebook link isn't working from DailyMile, but I noticed as well.
