    great Leg Day

My legs hate me now, but my mind feels great. I needed to take out my frustrations, big time.

  2. RUN
    great 4 mi

Peaceful, quiet and wonderful evening run in our new neighborhood. It's wonderful to run at night again and not wonder what creepies might chase me down. Ended this run with a smile on my face.

  3. RUN
    good 3.5 mi

BACKPOST - still in the middle of my move. Xterra Trail 5k (RD said it was 3.5 miles, not 3.1) This was the toughest and steepest trail hills I have ever run. Good grief, but glad I did it. *3rd... read more

Congratulations! Sounds like you had a great race. I know what you mean about counting the downhill courses for PRs. That's how I feel about Fontana. While it's not a "screeching" downhill, it is a very fast course, so I've avoided signing up for it. I don't want to set a PR that I will never break! Congrats again. Great job on your shiny new PR!

Jill - my PR is at Snow Canyon in 2011. It was screeching, but it's not he record I look to break. Surf City 2012 (1:53:12) was my true PR in my opinion. I may return to Snow Canyon, not to PR but a test out of my downhill legs. I did Fontana last year. Not a fan.
