  3. RUN
    great 10.75 mi 01:46 09:52 pace

Feeling so good right now. Legs are finally getting used to the higher milage and are feeling stronger rather than just exhausted.

The half started at 7:45... way too late. It was very warm, but a beautiful view...

    great Amazing! 10.55 mi 01:39 09:23 pace

My pace is finally coming back down after emerging from laziness. Felt like I could run forever!

  6. RUN
    great Treadmill 7 mi 01:12 10:20 pace

Left piriformis is feeling tight. Almost didn't run because of it, but it felt fine running. Go figure.

  7. RUN
great Who cares about the run... 9.35 mi 01:29 09:31 pace

'cuz I just did 5 consecutive pullups!!!! It only took me an entire year to work up to it (seriously. wish I was exaggerating) but I finally did it. I wonder if it'll take another whole year to get... read more

  8. RUN
    great 8 miles @ GMP 13 mi 01:57 09:00 pace

5 miles w/u + 8 miles @ goal pace (avg. 8:28, shooting for 8:35). I did not expect the pace miles to hurt anywhere near as much as they did. Lots of work ahead of me!

  9. RUN
    great Treadmill 5 mi 00:52 10:19 pace

Nice and easy so that I'm rested for some miles at goal marathon pace tomorrow.

  10. RUN
great warm and windy 9.33 mi 01:29 09:33 pace

Left achilles started a bit tight but warmed up nicely. Love running in the wind!

  11. RUN
    great Treadmill 5 mi 00:50 10:00 pace

Nothing exciting, just getting the miles in.

  12. RUN
    great 4.18 mi 00:45 10:46 pace

I don't normally like recovery runs, but I must have really needed it, because this felt great. Like it was clearing out all the fatigue.

  13. RUN
    great 10 mi 01:35 09:31 pace

Felt fantastic today, like I'm getting stronger!

  14. RUN
    great 13.55 mi 02:12 09:43 pace

I guess I'm making progress, because I didn't feel nearly as bored as I did on my LR last week. Now I should really make an extra hot coffee and go stand in the icy cold pool for recovery.

The TM didn't bother my hip today! And now I'm ready to taste test the double chocolate mint cookies my daughter is making. Yum!

Was that you out there this morning near Orange Elementary? If so, I was the crazy lady running with the green "Oscar the Grouch" beanie!

I don't think I would say "cute" lol...but I'm low on running supplies; beanies and gloves being a few of them. I figured you were on a long run since you were in my neck of the woods. Great job, Robin!!! When is your next race? I'm still deciding whether or not to go through w/Surf City half since I haven't trained. I might sign up for the Hollywood 10K in April.

Definitely be smart about Surf City. I would hate to see you get injured. My next goal race is the Guns n' Hoses half in Ontario in April. It's a perfectly flat course and inexpensive. Wanna go with me?

    great 8.4 mi 01:21 09:35 pace

Enjoying getting my milage back up. I'm going to try really upping my milage for my next marathon - lots of long, easy miles. This is new for me, so we'll see how it goes.
