First fixed solo ride in ages. Legs reassuringly happy, ran out of route before I ran out of energy.

Dear Dailymile, I am leaving (oh no!) It's not that I don't like you but my running is not being timed (except Parkrun) and computers have come off bikes. 2011 for me is not about top spe... read more

Roadie Turbo Session 16.93 mi 01:00 16.9mph pace
Paced it sensibly this time. Bit concerned about the tyre wear, will have to slacken it next time.

VELO
tired Turbo Roadie Failure 3.06 mi 00:08:54 20.6mph pace
Tired, hungry, didn't warm up and just hit the wall really fast. Pah.

RUN
great Norwich Ring Road 3.1 mi 00:26 08:26 pace
Better. Will go for it properly on Parkrun, assuming I haul my lazy behind out of bed.

Fixed gadabout
Don't know exactly how far (estimate just shy of 10 miles), definitely don't know the time, but was good to get out even though it was cold, wet and foggy.

VELO
good Roadie Turbo Session 7.53 mi 00:25 18.0mph pace
Turbo trainer is surprisingly hard work, only had the resistance on 3/10 for the most part. Very sweaty though, I mocked the Tacx sweatguard but I can see why people might buy it.

RUN
alright Norwich Ring Road 2.8 mi 00:25 09:02 pace
Suppose running slowly is better than not running. It was actually 3.1 miles but forgot to start timer, makes me feel a bit better knowing that.

Good work getting out and running :)

I'm working from home and therefore not commuting and it's cold and dark at night, so no leisure rides either. Just drinking tea with loads of sugar in it instead.

great Fixed {NVS} Ride - Norwich / ... 29.5 mi
That's it, broken my 2.5k mile target for 2010 with time to spare.

good Fixed Gadabout 22.4 mi
Computer battery died so no idea of time, as usual. I do remember it being a bit cold, with some hideous headwinds that bought me to a crawl on the flat and it pissed it down. This is what I do for... read more

great Fixed Urban Terror 7.33 mi
Sometimes urban cycling is just awesome fun. Overtaking moving traffic with the tailwind, fighting mental headwinds and nearly taken out by a crosswind. PS. I'm concerned this site is now defa... read more

great Norwich Parkrun 3.1 mi 00:23 07:17 pace
New Personal Best! Seven minute miles are getting closer…

Nice going, I'd add motivation but am on the mobile and I can't be arsed to load the full site

Fair play, appreciated anyway. I wish it showed the actual run time, which was 22:37 – 23 seconds is quite significant over 5k.

you could shave off 8 seconds and have it look a whole minute faster!

Cycling after running was easy. Different muscles innit.

good MTB - Whitlingham Lakes 5.1 mi
Quick lunchtime blast. The MTB is so much harder work than road riding, even on light trails.

VELO
alright Failed 10 Mile TT 15.02 mi
Battled the wind and rain for 9.9 miles of suffering only to find my timer had stopped at 1:44, I'm definitely not that fast. So it's a timeless total distance including warmup / warmdown... read more

RUN
good 5km Norwich Run 3.1 mi 00:24 07:48 pace
Absolutely suffering, I was going faster than I realised. The time includes about a minute of stops for crossing roads, but as they give me a rest I count them as run time.

VELO
good Roadie Jaunt 19.57 mi
Lovely day, didn't think I'd be out on the geared again this year. I still have this crap cold though, my endurance is suffering for it.

111 miles to hit 2.5k for the year. It's in the bag! Good job I drink enough to not get skinny from all that exercise.
I thought you were off here? I've been to lazy to put stuff up but I have a few things, even some running that I may put up soon

I thought I'd pop by. I'm occasionally on Runkeeper now (also for biking) because I've an app that uploads everything for me on that.
