Today was Long Run day for Team Diabetes, the longest training run before tapering down for the PF Changs Half Marathon Jan 17. My goal today was just to plod along and finish, and I did, felt some short bursts of energy at 6, 8,11 miles. Was a bit chilly at the go (frost on windshield, must have been high 30s) but I always dress to me colder as the body heats yp (shorts and short sleeve shirt). Nice route along canals from Granada Park, Biltmore Loops, down to 32 back up to Northern Am giving up on Nike+ which has been over clocking miles. I guess I'm ready.
