  1. great 3.66 mi / 00:42 11:22 pace

New city and route helps! Not too cold (41) in Austin, gray cloudy. Run from hotel down to Town Lake trail, that hill back up Jacinto at the end was.... er.... fun.

  2. good 2.09 mi / 00:24 11:24 pace

First time out since 1/2 Marathon, just to get out and about and try and figure out when/if to do another one.

  3. good 13.1 mi / 02:41 12:18 pace

Finished the PF Changs Half Marathon in Phoenix- it was perfect sunny and warm conditions, and the first 10 miles felt good. Had some challenges on the last bit with low blood sugar, and had to run/walk the last 3. Just feels good to be done!

  4. great 1.84 mi / 00:20 11:00 pace

Short and sweet. 4 days til I go 13.1

  5. great 3.46 mi / 00:39 11:15 pace

    Feel allright!

  6. great 3.33 mi / 00:38 11:27 pace

This was one of the fastest times for my neighborhood loop, felt really good today... and I finally managed to calibrate the Nike+

  7. good 6.66 mi / 01:23 12:29 pace

Slow and easy, did neighborhood loop in both directions. Sunny and mid 60s. Finally found right buttons to calibrate Nike+ and my damned hands slipped on the click wheel.

  8. alright 3.78 mi / 00:41 10:56 pace

Gulp. I've slacked off for a full week; the guilt crept up to me. Did a late cold afternoon loop in the snow. I was hoping to use the Nike+ option to calibrate the device to run of a known distance (I measured on MapMyRun), but the damned Nike+ softwar... read more

  9. good 3.5 mi / 01:30

Muddy, muddy, muddy walk up the Pine Trail... but oh what a sight when a giant full moon rose over the edge of the Mogollon Rim.

  10. good 12 mi / 02:14 11:09 pace

Today was Long Run day for Team Diabetes, the longest training run before tapering down for the PF Changs Half Marathon Jan 17. My goal today was just to plod along and finish, and I did, felt some short bursts of energy at 6, 8,11 miles. Was a bit chi... read more
