Was on pace for a sub 4-hr marathon until mile 20. Then all those elevation changes caught up with me...and kicked my you know what. ;-)

Thanks All! I was actually thinking of stretching it out to be my first 50k. I did an extra 2 miles at the front end of the event (maybe why I bonked a bit)...but then didn't have any juice at the end to add 2 more for 30.2! Fail. ;-)

Way to go Chris!! I was wondering about the 2 miles. My Garmin is usually off a 1/4 but not 2! 2 miles before the marathon and still had 4:39 for the 28 --- that is outstanding.

That's my West Virginia marathon, Rob. I ran the Derby Festival marathon back in April to get the bluegrass state checked off. ;-)
