      Chris this is a tremendous long run. I've been told that long training runs are all about endurance and time on your feet and should be 2 minutes, at least, slower than anticipated race pace. You had a great run. Take the long view and have some fun. Just sayin :-)

      Yep, what Mike said. Your training running should be slower than your race pace. Another good one to do is a "fast finish" where you run the first 14 miles 1 and half minutes or so slower than your race pace and then pick your last 6 miles up to your race pace.
