Resisting the urge to run right now. It's such a beautiful day! I'm taking a much needed week off from running, and I'm forcing myself to stick to it. Finishing the half marathon and being unsatisfied with my performance just makes me want to run more, but I'm resisting. I really want to get out there and just go fast for whatever number of miles necessary, but I know that wouldn't be a good idea, and it certainly wouldn't make me feel any better about my Hyannis time. I need to use this week off to heal mentally more than physically I think. I'm itching to run, but I won't let myself!
