  12. RUN
    2.11 mi 00:21 09:47 pace

This was an interesting one. Ran my 2 miles in the pouring rain! This was the first time I'd ever done that, and it was pretty darn fun. Have any of you ever run in the rain?

    • Peneloperae

Some of my most memorable (both horrible and fantastic) runs have been in pouring rain. I've twice done 1/2 marathons in the cold pouring rain (yuk), but I've taken some refreshing summer warm runs in torrential rains and loved it. Glad you found it fun too! Great run by the way :)

Great rain run! I've run in the rain a couple of times. The last time I the thunder and lightning started at almost the halfway point. There was no turning back that far out but I wasn't expecting the light show in NJ during April.

YES, I just recently did! I got caught in the rain at almost exactly my half way point. I always think it's going to upset me, but it doesn't, it's actually exhilarating! I am so glad you posted this and had fun!

Well done, and that's some heat over there, 5k or 3 miles is a good run just don't over do it, distance will come over time.

Definitely. I'm used to 5k, but have been doing the 10k training program. Starting to think I should wait on that until after summer and just enjoy my runs now, rather than "train". I had a great time last night when I realized my injury was gone.. I was air drumming and air guitaring.. must've looked like a madman lol.

Smart move! Heat like that is so tough on the system. Great distance for those conditions - hope it cools down :)
