Really didn't want to go after Santa Cruz weekend, but - felt surprisingly ok when we got home at 330pm (probably 'cause Pie Ranch fair trade coffee was starting to kick in) and read a few paragraphs of a New Yorker article on Alberto Salazar - the greatest distance runner in the 1980s. And I thought, if this guy goes out and wants to train when he's ill with the flu, and Endorphin Dude ran 100 miles this weekend, I can go and do a piddly 10... that should have been 14. Need to really start ramping up mileage for CIM.

    Nice 10! I just got back to the city, and now I'm trying to motivate to leave for my skipped long run. My 8 miler is currently rounded down to around 3 or 4...
