No, your eyes did not deceive you. Yes, I did run. It's been MONTHS since I last ran. And even more MONTHS since I ran consistently. I'm not worried about pace at all. Right now, it's just important that I run nonstop for a decent period of time.
I picked up where I left off with naked running,"barefoot" with no music. The whole "barefoot" thing is felt in your calves first. But I didn't have that problem this time. It was all about my hamstrings. Once they were warmed up, I was okay. Then the run became more mental than physical. You know how that is. I did pretty well. And as usual, I ended the run with a little speed work in the last minute. Got my heart rate up a bit over 200.
