Today was one of those days where you remind yourself that not every workout is a breakthrough workout. The pool was cold but I forgot about that when my swim cap broke and had to swim with my long hair all over the place like Shaggy.

Bummer! Good for you to keep going, though! (Also good to know that swim caps can fail like that...who'd have thought? I remember reading a tip to put goggles on under the cap so you'd be less likely to lose them during the swim, but that would probably not work so well if one's cap failed.)
