10 miles easy
2 miles at target HIM pace (8:00 mpm)

Couldn't quite hold the 8:00 pace. It was hilly and HOT. I did end up having to cheat a little. There is a pretty steep, but short hill at about 10.5 miles. When I started up it, I could feel my left calf start to tighten way up. I had major issues with that ankle last weekend (going to the doctor Tuesday). I didn't want to risk making it worse, so I walked the hill and stopped the Garmin. I started back on pace at the top.

    If that's the same course we did when I came out there, I know what hill you're referring to. It's huge! Don't feel bad for cutting back the pace on it, especially if you are starting to feel injured. Just not worth it!
