7 was very flat... Too much milage yesterday. I am still not ready to return to my old ways. Maybe never as I am now older..

Yes the mill this afternoon. I am old and retired now Joan, I have the time and inclination to see if I can get really fit once again. The trick here for me is the feet... Will they hold up?

7 probably ran this one too hard for. Recovery day. Tomorrow might be a tough one. It was cool and overcast so I enjoyed myself with some quicker paced running.

  8. RUN

Was really an 18 miler with rolling hills. I accidentally entered 4.

Fantastic long run, why do you run so much?

My twin and I have always done a weekly 18 miler. Staple training run. Not so long it takes too much time to recover, but all the benefits of taxing the slow twitch to maximum hence involving fast twitch 1 and fast twitch II fibers. Backbone to my running. Run it once a week. As far as total milage, you get the most bang out of higher milage if you want to compete at the highest level. Hence doubles.. This is the easiest way to run big milage. Without overtaxing. Easy 3 at night..
