'IN WITH THE NEW' - Leg 2 of 2! Took a couple of days to re-group from the disastrous 'OUT WITH THE OLD' - Leg 1 of 2 I did on New Year's Eve. Also stopped for a large bowl of Phở on my way to the pool. So much for the 30 min. rule! Think the rest and food was the perfect combo for feeling nice and strong throughout. Didn't have to take any swigs of energy gel, and only drank about 12 oz. of water. Helped that there was a speedy dude (judging from his lanky "not yet exposed to the weight room" build, I'm gonna say HS) doing his own workout in the next lane. Even thought about going the entire 100 x 100s, but I'm not *that* crazy! Spent hardly any time on the wall, and was in and out of the pool in less than 90 mins. - yay!

Pool I ended up at is my least favorite of the bunch. Is advertised as a SCM pool, but it seems a bit short. Stroke count is the same as SCY and my 100s are way too fast to be SCM, but the flags are def set up for SCM. Annoying! Also, half of the lanes slope down towards the deep end. Glad I was able to get the last straight one!
