    Lower body workout with trainer, Brittany. Dead lifts and leg lifts. Agh!
    Learned some new leg stretches, and very happy about that.

      Eep. I thought about trying an actual class after feeling OK after 7 miles in half an hour on the bikes at the gym. Should I stay away? Why are you bruised?

      Just saddle sore. The cardio aspect felt great. Several people told me the pain goes away after the first few workouts. Or failing that, I can buy a gel pack for seats.

    Walk/jog with dog. Blistering hot and humid. Walked most of the time, and couldn't finish the normal 4.2 miles. The slowest time ever! Had to stop every time we found shade.

  7. 17-minute miles. Still very sad pace, but at least I'm not on the couch.
