    Ran 1 mile to the beach, 1 mile by the ocean, then 1 mile back home. Gotta love this loop. Need to work off all those holiday sweets.

    Warmup for 0.5 mile at 12:00, then 2 miles at 10:54 pace. Good to get back into it. My lungs are still feeling a bit froggy, but not running oustide in the winter should help.

      He was so close he was practically breathing on me. The treadmills are always high demand....guess I am just going to have to get faster to fit my 3 miles in with warmup and cooldown!

    Had a bad cold, followed by a sinus infection/bronchial issues for the past 4 weeks, so I took it very easy for my first workout in a month. Ran easy with walk breaks.

      Don't sweat it too much. On race day, you instinctually go faster because of the adrenaline, the crowds, the rabbits, etc. Tha's what happened when I finally hit sub-30 (once, lol); it took me completely by surprise!
