Chad yep been using the Succeed S caps pretty religiously especially on longer outtings. No problems with cramping until after I stop running or at night in bed. May be lacking in the potassium/magnesium department.

I did TRSP couple weeks ago immediately after a heavy downpour. Feet felt about two pounds heavier coming out of the brush with all the water weight in the shoes. Made for a good final lap on the pavement. Did you use the steps or the mud slide across the river from the CCC shelter?

I agree with the heat stuff. I think it's good for us to figure out how our bodies are acting in this stuff, given that many of us have races in other places than GF. We could stand to be a lot fitter as a state!

You know as well as I do, if you stay hydrated and run smart, you can run in heat. Enjoy the night at BWW with the group!

Things are starting to come together. Put together a OK week and I feel pretty fresh. Hope to peak out in next 3 to 4 weeks before a gradual taper into the race. Feel my body is capable of some 100 mile training weeks but it be tough with family, and work to log those without taking away from them :)
