Decided to go a little long today. This is one of my favorite runs. Down to and over Williamsburg Bridge, up through Williamsburg and GreenPoint, over Pulaski Bridge, up to Queensboro Bridge and then back down 1st Ave.
Was trying to beat the rain. Technically, I did beat it out the door, however, light rain started at about 1 mile, and then harder stuff was coming down by 5 miles. Drenched by the end.
Felt comfortable throughout and happy with my time - had some in the tank to push the last half mile. Shin was not a problem - was sure to stretch before I got going. Definitely a rest day tomorrow, and maybe Tuesday as well.

Scott...I give you tons of credit..I cannot run in the rain or even a hint of it.....it comes from being a meter reader in my youth and having to be out in all kinds of weather....I have issues...Nice workout..
