Rainy day run. This is my favorite rainy day course because the middle 2 miles is under the FDR drive (dry)! Rain was hard to start and then more of a heavy mist towards the end.
This was a also a 'test my groin' run. As I suspected, I tweaked it again Monday night at softball, but not as bad as last time. Stretching, icing, massaging the last 36 hours, and it held up today. Sore to start, and then just a minor nuisance the rest of the way. Thankfully, the shin cooperated as well.
All systems go for Sunday! Weather is looking wonderful as of now...

Hi Scott, like like an interesting route, don't you run into a lot of intersections and traffic?

It's actually not too bad, down 1st Ave and up Ave A. 1st Ave is nice because there is not as much cross traffic as on the other avenues. There are some tough intersections, like Delancey and Houston, but the smaller intersections are pretty easy to get through, even if against the light.
