  1. FIT
great Sonoran Preserve, Dixie Mount... 4.8 mi 01:13 15:12 pace

Felt GREAT. I expected the air quality to be terrible with the wildfire smoke, but the wind is blowing north. We should still be good here for a few more days if that keeps up.

  2. FIT
    alright 4.8 mi 01:12 14:59 pace

I've been home for an hour and I still feel like I'm going to puke. Guess I need to exert less until I acclimate to the heat...

  3. FIT
    great 4.8 mi 01:04 13:20 pace

Ran 60% of the trail, even some of the uphills. Felt goooood.

    Very hot.

  5. RUN
    good 2 mi 00:26 13:00 pace

Oh my holy hell. My times are terrible. I need to start running regularly again, for sure. This is embarrassing.

Sama, you're such a trooper for being so active when it's so hot outside! It's still in the low 100F's here, but the nighttime lows are going down which means early am and late pm jogs are starting to happen now. I have a 5K again in March, but if I train right I'm hoping to register for the 10K. :)

  6. FIT
good Usual loop trail. 4.2 mi 01:12 17:08 pace

A little warm, but overall it felt good.

  7. RUN
    alright 4 mi 00:53 13:15 pace

Wow. Talk about slow. My cardio function was fine, but my legs fatigued so fast. Guess it's time to start jogging more regularly...

  8. FIT
alright Usual spot. 4.2 mi 01:25 20:14 pace

Holy crap, we were so slow and I don't know why. Oh yeah, I hurt my foot the other day, so no running this time, plus it was hot. C'mon, Fall weather...

  9. FIT
alright Usual route. 4.2 mi 01:16 18:05 pace

Getting back into the swing of things. Not too bad of a time given the heat.

  10. FIT
blah Sonoran Preserve 4.6 mi 01:31 19:46 pace

jesus cristo, I was thisclose to requiring helicopter extraction. That was our worst time ever, and incredibly hot. I was hydrated and rested and I still wanted to die. Good times.

  11. FIT
tired Ground trails. 5.5 mi 01:32 16:43 pace

Blah. I used one of those energy gel pack thingies and it was gross but it worked.

  12. RUN
    good 4 mi 00:43 10:45 pace

Saw weird spiders, jumping cockroaches, and huge lizards. Running at night is nice, except for that part.

  13. FIT
    good 4.6 mi 01:18 16:57 pace

Hot. Loving evening hikes, though. Shade, anyone?!

  14. FIT
    alright 4 mi 01:17 19:15 pace

Given 100* temps and my considerable level of exhaustion before I even started, I won't complain about my time.

  15. FIT
    alright 4.6 mi 01:12 15:39 pace

My legs were so fatigued--my 4th hike of the week, which is one more than normal--and it was kind of hot out. I think the heat will start affecting my time when it comes to hiking.

  16. FIT
    good 4.6 mi 01:12 15:39 pace

90 degrees is getting to be a little warm. Not sure how much longer I can manage until it gets cool again in the fall.

  17. RUN
    good 2 mi 00:19 09:30 pace

My legs fatigued very quickly (prob due to the hike I'd just finished), which is why I only made it one mile before turning around and coming home. But my knees felt great and the weather was... read more
