alright Tough run in the neighborhood 6 mi 00:51 08:28 pace

Hilly route in the neighborhood, that included 3 of the toughest hills we have. Started out feeling pretty good, but the climbs in the last couple of miles were kinda rough. I usually try to nega... read more

  2. RUN
great Neighborhood snow shower 4 mi 00:33 08:12 pace

Pretty easy/manageable effort for 3 miles with a fast-ish last mile. Flurries in the first mile turned into a full-on snow shower by the end. But it's already melted.

  3. RUN
great Some hills and trails 3 mi 00:26 08:47 pace

A few hills and trails early in the morning. Very manageable effort, primarily b/c I could barely see on some of the trails.

  4. RUN
    great Neighborhood 4 mi 00:33 08:20 pace

Early run with roads that were a little slick. Ended up being a progressive effort but still fairly easy with some short hills here and there.

  5. RUN
    great Neighborhood 3 mi 00:24 07:56 pace

1 mile slow with hills, 2 miles moderate over easier terrain. A little windy, but this one was short and sweet.

  6. RUN
great The dog set a PR 6 mi 00:49 08:12 pace

Wasn't sure how this would go at all, but headed out on the Palouse Trail toward Idaho with the dog. She did great-- we stayed in sync, and she seemed unfazed. Previous long run for her was ... read more

  7. RUN
    great Neighborhood 3 mi 00:25 08:12 pace

A couple of easy miles with a pick up in the last mile. Felt better than expected. Cool and a little humid.

  8. RUN
great Neighborhood, no watch 4 mi

Early, drizzly run in the neighborhood. No watch-- just focused on form with increased effort toward the end. Good start to the day.

  9. RUN
good Neighborhood with some wind a... 3 mi 00:25 08:15 pace

Short run with some hills mixed in. Up hills tended to be against the wind this morning, but that made the downhills really nice.

  10. RUN
great Around the neighborhood 3 mi 00:25 08:13 pace

Short run around the neighborhood with 2 miles easy and a little pick-up in the 2nd mile. Pretty tired this morning from Roll Tide last night. Cool, drizzly weather.

  11. RUN
great Neighborhood and surroundings 6 mi 00:51 08:25 pace

I needed this one. Kept the pace manageable with some pick-ups here and there on a mostly flat route. Temp was good (mid 30s again). Good start to the day.

  12. RUN
good Short run in the neighborhood 3 mi 00:24 07:52 pace

Warmest run we've had here in a while (mid 30s). First couple of miles felt a little rusty, but I kept them pretty easy and steady. Picked it up in the last mile, but it felt harder than it ... read more

  13. RUN
    great Neighborhood 3 mi 00:24 08:05 pace

Short, progressive run on a flat route. Felt good the whole time. Roads and sidewalks were a little slick in places. Cold but not too cold.

  14. RUN
great Short hill run 3 mi 00:26 08:35 pace

Short, chilly run in Alabama before heading back to the PNW. Worked in some hill repeats and kept the effort pretty easy.

  15. RUN
great Helena, AL 3 mi 00:25 08:10 pace

Short, low-key run with some hills. Good start to the day.

  16. RUN
great Helena, AL 3 mi 00:22 07:11 pace

Progressive run on a flat loop. Waited til midday but temp was still pretty cool. Pace toward the end was hard but not awful.

  17. RUN
great Helena, AL 3 mi 00:25 08:28 pace

Short run with some hill repeats. Hills felt kind of tough but not as bad as my typical routes back home. Good to get the blood flowing a little. Temp in the low 30s which felt quite comfortable ... read more

  18. RUN
great Another snowy one 6 mi 00:54 08:55 pace

Another couple of fresh inches of snow made this one a little slow going, but it was fun- route wasn't really tough. Hopefully, got me just tired enough for a red-eye flight tonight.

  19. RUN
    great Chilly 6 mi 00:52 08:39 pace

Waited until the wind chill got up to 5 before I headed out. Roads were a little slick in places. Felt really good after the first mile.

  20. RUN
great Snow run, no watch 3 mi

Early run in 1-2 inches of snow. No watch-- just focused on form and taking in my surroundings. Temp in the teens, but the run felt good.

Great run! We had a little snow to enjoy as well. I kind of like winter running especially when the snow makes it nice to look at
