    those stationaries are so wack with the distances. i top out at about 24 mph, so there's no way that was sustained for an hour.

      thanks! still not 100%. occasionally pain, but so much better than it was a few months ago. i'm trying to build it back up. i don't have the ortho appointment for another week or so, and it'll be interesting to see what they say. i'm 99% my gp is right, and that it's not serious (not a structural problem) and just a pain problem. :)

      Great to see you're running again! But sorry about the knee pain and other issues. :( Did you ever end up seeing anyone about your knee?

      i've been seeing my regular dr about it for a while, but i don't see an orthopedic until sept. just based on the reg dr, we're pretty sure it's a torn meniscus, which is totally normal and not a big deal. the catch, we think, though, is that this tear can either create a piece of tissue that flaps either in or out when you move - if you get the "in" flap, it hurts like a mo-fo but isn't any more serious than the "out" flap. so, that's what we think my deal is.

    i just couldn't stand it any longer, and got on the treadmill. was about 6or 7 hours ago, and knee feels mostly fine, but tomorrow will be the real tell.
