That is odd and hilarious at the same time! Sounds like fun running. Not odd that he didn't talk as you never know someone's situation, but odd that he was cheering for you and gave you water. Seemed like a pretty nice gesture from a complete stranger, which at times is a rarity in the society that we live in.

Big decisions like this will absolutely take it out of you. I wouldn't say you fell off the wagon at all. You did what you needed to do in order to persevere these last few days. But you did--you made the best decision for you--and you ran almost 7 miles today. Sounds like a good way to end the week. Congrats on the promotion and to a new start with the old job Caroline! :-)

Hey congrats on promotion!!! Least you can do is invite me for a round of beer! .. What's going on with your hammy??? Still giving you problems? I forgot that you are turning 60 years old soon, right? I will have to recommend you my PT, who made a wonderful job with my knee to the point that I want to come back :)
