  10. Changed up rest days to accommodate my schedule. Started incorporating intermittent walks after every two miles to promote muscle rebound and increase endurance.

      Woot! Awesomeness! For water I ALWAYS am drinking every ten minutes. without fail. My garmin 305 beeps at me every ten to remind me. I feel like pavlove's dogs! But it totally helps. also for running an hour or more, get Hammer Nutrition's Endolights. There are others that are similar, but I use there. two every hour. Just another quiver in your arrow!

      Thanks for the tip, Eric. It has been so hard for me to get back where I was. Now, I know my body seems to need more water frequently, but not so much upfront. I will have to check the HNE out!

    blah Barely Hanging On 5.5 mi 45:00

    Started feeling normal. Went back running yesterday and today. For a total of 5.5 miles. Still way behind week three total miles. Oh, well. Saturday, I am going to run 6 miles!

      Okay, my last run was on April 18th. It was a 10K. I did it in 58 minutes and some, in a thunderstorm! My son beat me by two minutes. He is pictured with me in my profile pic after the run. We are eating ice cream. I am retraining for a half marathon starting today. Gonna start off with a quick two and rebuild, concentrating on speed and hills.

    tired Week 3 (no run, just rest)

    James and I did not run today. We were too tired still from traveling. We used today as our rest day and will run tomorrow, Wed., Thursday. Then, I will do my long run on Saturday.
