RUN

I missed a 30 minute run on Saturday, a 20 minute run on Monday and a 30 minute run on Wednesday. So I did a 30 minute run today instead of the scheduled 20 minute because I have a 40 minute run scheduled tomorrow. I am feeling like perhaps I should squeeze a 20 minute run in there before I tackle the 40 as that'll be my longest duration... advice?? Or am I overthinking it... ... haha

If you have the time to flip flop the two runs (the 20 min & 40 min) it might not hurt to get in one more before you go for your long run. That will give you a chance to clear any left over cobwebs :) Then you can go out and enjoy a nice LSD (long SLOW distance) for your next run. Whichever you do, have a great time and enjoy!

It's hard to stay in a mindset where time is not a competition. But as long as you're out there doing it, that's all that really matters. Just keep on keepin' on and you will see the speed improve over time. :-)

Those are frustrating workouts, but they are also the times that make the high points so worth it. Keep at it!

How exciting! A trip to Vegas! I am sure you will be doing a lot of walking around so that will be some of your exercise. Another thing you could look into is if the hotel your staying at has a gym. If so, you could run on the treadmill/elliptical. If your going to be there a week, maybe schedule two or three times to do 2 miles. The rest of you miles will come from walking up and down the Strip. Have a great time!
