Nice run! Only recommendation : if you haven't raced in those socks don't wear them.Could lead to blisters. I prefer compression sleeves if my legs need a hug!I need thicker socks for cushioning. Hope this is useful!

Tammie, thanks for the input! PT recommended socks, as the sleeves end where I need the compression the most, right in the Achilles / lower leg area. The CEP ones I bought have some cushioning in them, but not as much as the Thorlo's I've grown accustomed to have.

Mine is feeling better, not 100%, I think rest has helped this week. The only thing that really gets rid of it entirely is decreasing mileage and more cross training, which I intend to do after the marathon. Good luck Sunday!

PT / Coach says it can't get worse, and, if necessary, I can completely shut it down next week. Which, when combined with three more trips to PT (for Graston / Ultrasound / Patch) should have me ready to rock & roll come May 5.
