After the failed 5K on Saturday, I figured I should actually start training again. I planned on 3, but my procrastination and time only allowed for 2. I didn't run with a watch or my phone, so time is estimated.


OUTSTANDING. I think there's some value in "redemption" runs. In fact, a group of us are theming Chicago '10 "Redemption" for our botched (ie "not what we wanted it to be) 2010 IL Thon! I think there's motivation in that... Time will tell, I guess. Regardless, yay YOU! Do you have another race on your calendar?

Thanks. My goal is to run 1 race/month from May (IL 1/2 marathon) through October (St Louis 10K). I'm doing the Bagelfest 5K in July, another small 5K in August, then I'm on a 5-person relay team for Quad Cities Marathon in September.
The 5Ks are really supposed to be training runs for the marathon relay (I think I'm doing a 7 mi leg), but clearly I need to take them more seriously.
Good luck in Chicago-- such a huge race!
