    good KLCC 6.09 km 00:37 09:50 pace

First run to stretch out the legs after starting the taper. Was OK but the it was warm even though it just stopped raining! Wished I'd gone longer but left calf was a little tight and there's a pla... read more

What a coincidence, I also had tightness and a twinge of pain in my left calf and shin that elicited an ice pack treatment after the run.

  2. RUN
    tired Bird Park-Petronas-BA 24.19 km 02:45 10:56 pace

An "ai see beh see" run with 2 equally tired and sleepy friends Frank C. and Jeff O. Unusually heavy traffic on the roads for a Saturday 5am. Other than the tender PF, the legs were fi... read more

    great Spinning 20 km 00:40 18.6mph pace

It was already 9:45pm and I was dead pissed at missing out on my run for 2 days in a row when it's supposed to be the final week of training. Discarded the need for dinner (stomach was growling) an... read more

    great Spinning 20 km 00:41 18.0mph pace

Wanted to feel the thighs and calves burn. Had the 2011 Ironman video to move me, and the minutes just flew by.

  5. RUN
    great Kinrara 21.26 km 02:12 10:00 pace

Relaxing run with Jimmy L. Fully aerobic nearly all the way. Standoff with 3 dogs just 7 feet away and snarled back at them until their handlers at the golf club called them back. I shouted at the ... read more

  6. RUN
great Home Loop 2.72 km 00:14:29 08:33 pace

A bit of pseudo brick workout just to feel the jelly legs. Within 100m the legs were fine. Key is not to overstride. Small little strides will do it. And yes brick training is great to simulate tho... read more

I would have had to crawl if I did a 20K spinning session and then try to run after that ... LOL!

  7. RUN
    good BA-Hartamas-KLGCC 27.16 km 02:51 10:06 pace

What a strange run this was! It had everything - from chopped trees, route modification, disrupted pacing, rogue biker gang, cyclist with a death wish and the sudden emergence of a chicken predator.

  8. RUN
    great KLCC 6.4 km 00:38 09:34 pace

First K felt heavy and thought I was going at a steady clip until I saw the watch! WTH! Things started to loosen up from there onwards and it was a nice short and sweet run after yesterday's long r... read more

Thanks. I was worried enough to head over to Timberland during lunch time to get a down jacket with hood. RM699 after clearance. Original price RM999! Holy crap! But staying warm is truly premium and crucial to my experience there.

    great Giant-Kinrara 24.42 km 02:30 09:53 pace

With Frank C. after no-show by Jeff O. who presumably didn't get the Home Ministry's approval. Ran comfortably until the last 5K as usual when the pace was increased. Traffic was heavy and luckily ... read more

@Ethan - IMHO, the Flow is a much better shoe for the marathon than the Connects. Nice long run shoe.

@Kannan - good luck with your maiden marathon preparation.

    alright Kinrara 15.13 km 01:43 10:55 pace

We slowed down, stopped and at least I myself gazed in admiration of the snake. It's really beautiful and we see so little of wildlife not in captivity that to suddenly spot one is a marvel.
