#dailymission In early 2011 when I was on my weight loss kick I tracked my calories via livestrong.com. It was extremely helpful and I managed to lose around 10-15 lbs - now I am more about maintaining so I keep a similar diet to what I ate back then, but with more treats and booze allowed :) Also, honestly, I know people say not to do this, but I try to get on the scale every morning or at least every other morning. It's the only way to keep yourself honest and accountable to stay where you want or go elsewhere... otherwise, you wait a week, and it becomes two weeks, etc. Now, as far as what the NUMBER on the scale is, whatever, I am considered borderline obese considering my height and weight - HA, PSHAW! I love the way I look :)
I put on about 6lbs btwn July 4th and last week, and, being able to see that, I know I've got to cut back for a bit to get back down. Might be obsessive, but if you know it keeps you happy and feeling good, DO IT! Course, what am I preaching to you people for? I have some friends who could use this advice :-/

I weigh myself daily and then accuse the scale of being a liar.

Great job! I here ya. I am "overweight" by the standards too even a my "fighting" 34 inch waist weight. I would look like skeletor at 180 pounds... 195 it should be. 205 it is today! :0
