Believe it or not, walking a half is nearly as hard as running one! I've got the biggest blisters I've ever had from this one! A 5 inch blister on both heels! But it was great to race aga... read more

great California State Capital Run 7 mi 01:29 12:42 pace
Nice long run last night. My longest in months. My next target is the See Jane Run Women's Half. I'm hoping to beat last year's time of 2:35, but that will be hard for me to do. ... read more

great Land Park Run 2.6 mi 00:32 12:18 pace
Working on my 15 week to half marathon Galloway training program and running for 30 minutes today is all the plan called for. I chose to take it a bit slow and enjoyed the scenery of a new park I ... read more

5K - Around CA Capital 3.13 mi 00:35 11:16 pace
Working on my 5K pace. This is about the best I can do at this point. Weather was about 50 degrees and it was sunny out. This is perfect running conditions for me. Just warm enough to soak some sun... read more

I'm very jealous of your 50's. Around here its been in the 40's one day and the 20's the next and snow and rain. I'm ready for spring!

Yeah, the one upside to working down here temporarily is getting to miss the inversion months and gross tail end of Boise winter. I should be coming back just in time for Boise Spring and leaving Sac right when it starts the 100 degree weather craziness.

Sadly, I won't be registering for Robie this year. :( I probably won't be in town yet so I'll have to miss it. I love the theme this year though. Good luck to everyone trying to get... read more

American River Bike Trail Run 5 mi 01:05 13:00 pace
Nice little run in the 60 degree sunny weather with my pals. I had enough energy to keep on going for miles but am taking it slow and ramping back up. Looking for consistency.

good Downtown Sac 4.97 mi 01:01 12:14 pace
Just ran in sunshine and 61 degree temps in the middle of what is usually winter for me! What could be better?

Oh how I wish it was warmer, it's been so cold here in Boise.

great Feeling like a slow poke 3 mi 00:38 12:39 pace
Run went good, but I'm feeling like such a turtle...longing for the days of 11 minute miles. I know I'll get there soon but for now this is feeling like a challenge.

Got a little lost - Returning... 1.56 mi 00:28 17:45 pace
We got lost on the trail and ended up having to walk about a mile and a half to get back home. The walk served as a nice cooldown, but as our body temperatures dropped we were FREEZING! :)

Candace
Bummer I missed you! Congrats on the bb and the effort! I agree totally on the going slower part- I ran with a friend not at my normal pace and got so tight. But it was super fun!
