Hello Ric, thanks. Following your diet I don't think I manage my eating habits. Although it makes sense as I always seem to fade on my long runs.

i'll post how it goes when I've been doing it about two more weeks - they say it takes about 4 weeks minimum to see the effect of the diet fully.

Hello Ric, not crazy about the rough spots along the run. Still trying to find that dream route for strictly bare-footing it. Once I dial in my new thick soled huaraches I'd like to try doing some mountain trails. Know any good runs near the Westside?

one that's good for huaraches, yes. Los Liones trail: http://www.dailymile.com/routes/1055880-running-route-in-los-angeles-ca. Single track dirt on first half, very little gravel (I've done Vibram Fivefingers on it). The top half is mostly dirt fire road -- a couple short stretches of light gravel, but do-able in VFFs, so do-able in huaraches.

Good BareFoof Run, New Thick Sole Huaraches, seem to make me a bit faster perhaps the extra cushining don't feel all the rough stretches along my run? Should check my time just to make sure.
