  1. RUN
good Martha Lake 3.49 mi 00:35 10:02 pace

Blackberries (the berry, not the cell phone) are ripe now that the sun came back and the trails smell all fruity... it does wonders to mask the hot doggy doo somebody hasn't been bothering to ... read more

  2. RUN
good Martha Lake 3.49 mi 00:31 08:52 pace

Wow it felt like fall this morning while running. The moisture in the air and the movements of the clouds foreshadow the coming months. The lake was dark grey and unsettled and there was no one a... read more

  3. VELO
    good 8 mi 00:30 16.0mph pace

Stationary bikes can be weird, especially when your one year old is standing on the sofa with his hands on the handlebars of the bike egging you on.

  4. RUN
alright Martha Lake 3.49 mi 00:28 08:02 pace

Had a decent little trek around the lake. My legs felt strong and my lungs held up nicely but my heart just wasn't in it. Making myself step out the door was a feat in and of itself. I supp... read more

  5. VELO
    good 8 mi 00:30 16.0mph pace

Nice to be back on track and exercising regularly again.

  6. RUN
good Martha Lake 3.49 mi 00:29 08:19 pace

Ran at 9 and it was already HOT. I could hear the scotch broom seed pods crackle as they split open in the sun, it sounded like oil in a frying pan as I ran along the Interurban trail. I was surp... read more

  7. RUN
good Martha Lake 3.49 mi 00:30 08:36 pace

It was good to wake up and feel like running again. So I did. Listened to the Killers. Again. Didn't remember I had loaded lots of swell new stuff on. Better luck next run.

  8. RUN
    good Puget Park 3 3.49 mi 00:29 08:19 pace

Trucked along pretty good. I was happy just to wake up and feel like running. That hasn't happened in quite some time.

  9. RUN
good Martha Lake 3.49 mi 00:28 08:02 pace

It was good to be out on the trail again and I purposely left my music behind so I could hear the heat and the day as I bounced down the trail. I was grazed by a really rude cyclist. I run the ed... read more

  10. VELO
    good 6 mi

I think my bike offers the best blend of exercise, family time, and busy schedule for this summer at least. It was good to be able to exercise.

  11. VELO
    great Martha Lake

Is it cheating to record the chump change of a grocery outing? Bicycling felt ebullient compared with the punishment of my AM run.

  12. RUN
tired Martha Lake 3.49 mi 00:29 08:19 pace

Running this AM felt more like assault with a gunny sack of potatoes. How can the house project take so much out of me? It hasn't even gotten physical yet. I am a little afraid.

  13. RUN
good Martha Lake 3.49 mi 00:30 08:27 pace

My first run in two weeks. I loved getting to go round but I can feel the fatigue of my newly cranked up extra-busy life in every stride. It is going to be a looong year.

  14. I miss my feet on the ground. I miss picking them up off the ground even more. I will be so grateful when I get to GO again.

  15. RUN
good puget park 3.16 mi 00:29 09:10 pace

Pretty good run. Felt like a guilty pleasure because I took time to run and there are so many people who I need to be helping out right now... but now I can contribute wholeheartedly.

  16. The new layout is overwhelming but neat. I am excited because it looks like we are getting more features like calorie tracking, weight recording (public/private I presume). I especially like all ... read more

  17. RUN
great Puget Park 3 3.49 mi

While driving today I saw a runner coming down a hill on Phinney Ridge. She looked like she was having a beautiful time. I wanted to be her trucking down the hill in that moment. Then I saw her ... read more

  18. RUN
great Puget Park Long 5.5 mi 00:43 07:46 pace

While you are running you listen to what your body has to say in ways you tune out otherwise. Part of it is the absence of anything better to do. Like when you get stuck talking to someone in lin... read more

  19. VELO
    alright 00:30

Not much to say. Stationary bike. Slow and steady eats up the apple.
